Thank god its not only me, totally agree, when its good its good but otherwise MMMmmmmm, gets better towards the end me thinks, I will sleep easy tonight.

Gotta say I was mightily unimpressed with Shameless - Queen 4 a Day, over-produced twaddle LOL!

A band called Warp Drive, back in the day put out an album called Gimme Gimme. It got great reviews in Kerrang, think it was from Dave Reynolds. Thing was, I thought most of his recommendations were spot-on with my tastes. Every Monday I'd be down the record shop for the new releases. This however, was pretty crap.

Another one I will mention.
Again seeing a band photo and reading good reviews for the band DISTURBANCE. Went to the local CD shop and bought it....and to my disappointment....the music was okay but the vocals sounded like Weird Al....haha. Go ahead for those who have this...pop it in your cd player and tell me if I'm wrong...haha.

Latest Vain album. You would have thought after all this time they could have come up with something better.

I knew someone was gonna mention the new Vain album LOL! I love the guy, so I'm bound to like it, but I had a feelin it wouldn't be a lot of peeps cup o' tea [img]smile.gif[/img]

Vain even though I love their music...is one of those bands like Faster Pussycat or HIM...where everything sounds the same...and not to mention that some songs sound like the same songs on another of their albums, but with different lyrics.

D'Molls second release was pretty poor too.

Velvet revolver .. Ya divananee like it Lenni, ye godz mon whats up wiv yer? Tis one of my favourate albums to date, i love every track on it .. an' i mean EVERY DAM ONE ! it kicks bottom big time.

Oh yeah and Spicey babe i'm with yer on the Jalapeno's .. yummmmmmmy .. and on hot dogs too, only thang is you just gotta watch out what you touch after ! "Hot Nob" springs to mind !!! Ouchhhhhhhhhh .. X

I can remember a day that may have been a sign that the end of Glam being the domanant music in the U.S. would soon end.
I went to the record store to buy two new CD that were coming out on the same day. POISON-FLESH AND BLOOD, D'MOLLS-WARPED. Both dissapointing, both images toned down to a more conventional red-neck heavy metal, music not very glam, both CD's not very good, Poison- the feel good party band, singing about how tough there millionare lives are, D'molls sounding nothing like their 1st CD ( an underground classic)....
I thought it was like a Glam Holiday on the way to the store, after listening it was more like a nightmare funeral......
